"Building a new home can be a very daunting experience. Determined to enjoy the process and the outcome and to limit the stress of building our definitive dream home, we aimed to find a builder / project manger that we could trust and work with. Bruce extensively renovated / rebuilt our first home, a Californian bungalow, 8 years ago. The outcome was great. At each step in that original build, we were actively informed and consulted, being engaged in decisions on the pros and cons of each potential solution and feeling that we were genuine partners in the project. This led to a harmonious, productive team and our house being completed ahead of schedule and on budget.
We more recently purchased an Edwardian home much in need of major love and care, in a heritage area. Based on past experience, we came back to Bruce who took us through every step of the process. This included viewing and advising on properties before purchase, engaging the design consultants and walking us through the practical implications of the design. Bruce also nursed the council applications through rapidly as he actively engaged on our behalf with council and the heritage architect.
This building job was large and complex for a single home and for us was a major and exciting project. We wanted to demolish much of the existing house but retain the original 4 rooms, add another 55 squares including a large basement, gym, study, pool and spa, outdoor room, full landscaping, new front fence, underground tank, and the list goes on.
There were challenges along the way but Bruce was always available, including on weekends and after hours. As our work schedules are very hectic and with a young family this flexibility was invaluable. Bruce engaged an experienced and meticulous team and he was personally on site every day, working through the challenges, engaging with tradesmen, designers, as well as us as the client and bringing the team, step by step to a resolution with the minimum of stress, cost and delays.
As a family, we love our new home, we own every inch of it and were able to take the journey each step of the way. We will always be very grateful to Bruce for his calm, patient, experienced and honest guiding hand throughout the process. Indeed a friend commented recently, “I think you are the only people I know who love your new home and actually enjoyed the building process”.

"Teede Building Group have just completed an amazing renovation of my home in Hampton. I have been so impressed with the job from start to finish and the end result is better than I could have imagined. Bruce from the start was personally involved in the renovation. He gave me a quote that was very close to the end amount. Bruce itemized everything that was needed and we signed off all jobs as they were completed. Due to Bruce’s experience as a builder he was able to suggest ways of saving money!
The building started on time and we were back in the house in time for Christmas. There were several difficult items that I had chosen and Bruce and his team dealt with these incredibly well. Back lit onyx – no problem, and the glass wine cellar is beautiful.
